Thanks.
I knew we'd just blew up #3.
Didn't hear anything about any captures, though....

Be honest, and post something good about Obama.

Don't give insincere flattery, and no need to be insolent. Go to another thread to do that. This will be a feel-good thread.

Do it for your fellow Americans, whether you agree with their ideology or not. (Remember, it is your integrity at stake here.)

Here goes one: Obama has his family values down right inside his own home. Heart-warming to see his dedication to his wife and children.

something positive?

pbo is going to be exactly like carter, a 1 term president.

What Are Odds of U.S. Depression? - WSJ.com

Now you will likely proceed to tell my that the WSJ has no credibility and is a liberal rag?

Giving this hypothesis the unearned benefit of credibility, a one in five chance means their is no reason we should expect this to occur. In fact, if it did happen, it would only be because the very unlikely happened.

By this standard, we should give him credit for monkeys NOT flying out of his *****.

"The U.S. macroeconomy has been so tame for so long that it's impossible to get an accurate reading about depression odds just from the U.S. data. My approach uses long-term data for many countries and takes into account the historical linkages between depressions and stock-market crashes."

"Many countries" have economies like the US economy?

Could you name some countries that have economies like ours?

I'm an Independent and moderate but want to put my 2 cents in.

I think both Obama and Bush are great family men. And I think both have a sense of humor about themselves.

Also, I separate the job as President from the man. I may not like what they are doing/did on the job, but I like both Obama and Bush as people and wish them the best.
