I believe that our system is perfect as it is right now. We have two parties that fervently believe in the right way to run our government. One side feels that the less government in business and an individual’s life the better off we are. The other side believes that we have a moral responsibility to the well being of our citizens. The ultimate progression of each side is that on the one hand you have arbitrary morality enforcement, uncontrolled capitalism at the expense of the people and a culture who think the same or else. By the same token, the ultimate progression of the left is socialism. Government would insure that everyone would be taken care of by the rest. We would all walk to work, no smoking allowed on the planet, and all we would have is chump change in our pocket after taxes.

But there is a huge grey area in between the black and the white. The grey area rules and ultimately decides the issues in our political process. When we move too far right the other side screams and we in the middle hear. When we move too far to a socialist bent the opposite effect takes place. Ultimately we have a very dynamic political system that has a way of creating balance and in the bigger picture, the nation moves forward based on the desires of it’s citizens.

So yell and scream, it’s an important part of the process and we in the middle will decide based on your arguments. Our political system is fine, IMO. Just try and be polite to each other.

Default "It's Our America And It's Well Worth The Effort".....

Greeting's,

I agree with Sandpointian 1000% on this vastly important concept of
firmly and resolutely returning to the vitally important concept of doing all within our power to advance those principals and actions that dynamically promote "What's Good For America" .....

It appears without doubt that an extremely large segment of concerned American citizens are demanding just such a dramatic change of attitude from many of Washington's "Career Politicians".....

President John F. Kennedy stated it best : Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You..... Ask What You Can Do For Your Country"...

The "Profound Truth" contained within these words of great wisdom ring as true today as they did in 1961.....

It will truly require the maximum efforts of each and every loyal American Citizen..... regardless of their position in life to "Re-establish this Grand Union" as it was originally intended by the "Founding Fathers".....

It is extremely late in the game..... Immediate attention and action must be forthcoming..... The survival of this great nation and it's unique people are well worth all of our best efforts..
Thank You L. F.

You tell them! We liberals can think for ourselves, and do not need MSM (faux entertainment) to tell us to be drones! 1 rep!

The founding fathers put themselves first when the made the Constitution. And many a rapist has come thereafter.

The otherside of the coin is socialism. Don't think the founding fathers had that in mind but their idea is stretching to meet those ideas.

Time for rational behavior. Studio 54 is dead, so is Woodstock, and those who believe in unaccountable behavior had best get a grip on what will happen in 2010.

Buy, borrow and steal but the taxman is coming your way.

Wrong as usual. If you think democratic Americans love or agree with everything a democratically controlled white house, congress or house does, YOU ARE MISTAKEN! But, we democrats are smart enough to know that republicans love to seed lies, fear, and propaganda in an effort to discredit and throw in the preverbial wrench into democratic policy making. Who's making sense now? and, you know I speak the truth, that's why you're disagreeing with my point of view. But, that's ok, we Americans know how to respectfully disagree with one another, it's the politicians that need to work on thier etiquette. Especially the ones from south carolina.

Come on'its gone on for ages. The thing is most people just worked ;sleep and ate. They bascailly lived witrh what the politcians gave them and beleieved what they heard.Look at the old politcal machines that ran things in the poast;really thnik that was more of a demcracy. The founding father would be peound that people satn dup for what they believe. Even the media is now take to accounts in what they print or televise. The third estate is no more as they can't control the information the people get to hear and be snug as part of the elite politcal powers.

Come on Liberals & Conservatives, Put Country First above Personal and Party Pettiness!
I am doing just that - putting country first.

There is no more noble a cause than being part of a movement to try and stop a radical leftist from implementing his disastrous policies of massive tax, massive spend and massive debt/deficits.
