Yes, it is an absolutely insane idea. But that's what they think. Go over to the Christian forum here and you'll see that they all believe it.

That's a minor detail though. The main point of this post is that these Christians have EXTREME views. And they should have their own place to live like that. Because they are constantly pushing their agenda on the rest of us.

Sorry Christians, you're NOT going to convert the whole USA. But we'll break you off a piece of it.
I am totally familiar with the concept of the Rapture. However, the ones'pushing their agenda' as you say are small in number, and better examples of the blatant attempts at conversion would be the Jehovah's witnesses and the Mormons. Not the little Babtist corner church. Advocating segregation of any one group of people for their beliefs is just wrong, no matter how you slice it. This view of segregating Christians is no different, at all , than saying we should segregate by race. I thought we had the issue settled a while back as to the 'seperate but equal' stuff. Christians do not push their agenda any harder than certain political groups. Cramming ideology down peoples throats is not the sole realm of Christians.

I think Christians and non-Christians have a very, very different vision of how we should live and how society should operate.

It's gotten so disparate that it is stalling anything to get done politically. It's just endless debates and arguements.....

We are even seeing huge tea party protests forming. These are mostly right-wing Christians who are generally angry about everything Obama is doing. These people will NOT be happy unless a Christian Republican Conservative is in charge.

Let's give them what they want in their own place. Let's make them happy and get them out of our face.

I'm just looking for a solution to this ridiculous and broken system, that's all.

List of socialist countries - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Many countries like Iceland and Holland are right on the edge of socialism. Many aspects of their government are socialist. They are in the grey area for sure.
4 small asian countries inc. China plus Cuba ?- par for Wilkepedia.
Iceland has a few hundred thousand people,more a nieghborhhood than a country.Nice one,though.
Multinationals like Phillips and Royal Dutch Shell would be surprised to know they are in a socialist country.
Socialism means the country controls the means of production, having nice programs for the people is called Social Democracy.

I don't support pure socialism myself.

But I also think American people, like sheep, hate socialism and are afraid of it because they've been brainwashed into that mindset.

That would be great. Keep in mind that we are the only ones that work anymore and have the most wealth. Your cities would look like Watts in ten years or a rough version of Somalia. We, of course, could make a strong nation again out of even desolate areas, as we still have a work ethic and take pride in individual effort- you know, that stuff that built this country in the first place before it was ruined by liberals.

Agree. They've been brainwashed that Socialism is evil, but most of them don't even know the definition of the term; whatever Limbaugh or Dobson tell them is taken as literal. Take health care as an example, the right wingers see any government involvement as socialism, but it's not. By strict definition, socialism is defined as "government owning the means of production." The UK has socialized medicine, i.e., the British government OWNS the hospitals and their doctors work DIRECTLY for the British government. Nothing at all like that in the USA, or even planned. The closest we get to that is the Veterans Administration hospitals, that's it. But what the hell, no need to tell the truth, the GOP and their vested interest billionaires will spew whatever lies it takes to try and kill health care reform.

Regarding the basic premise of the thread, I think the truly hard-core, mind-warped, religious zealots in this nation number only a few million and they would fit nicely into Mississippi, a state that fits their ideal of low taxes and public schools so bad that they can all home school their kids. Other than that, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya and other theocracies are perfectly places to send them. I'd even agree to spending tax dollars to move them over, they can even take their guns and have a grand old time popping a few Talibaners. Ah, a perfect world.
