Heck maybe we should all just carry around 5 forms of ID to make sure our government is happy and won't deport us.

If you have nothing to hide and love your country why wouldnt you want to prove your citizenship.

To get rid of and stop illegals from trashing our country we ( meaning the citizens of the US ) need to carry something to prove our citizenship if it helps in combating these criminals from the south.

We need MORE of this all across America.

As long as the school system is being paid for teaching them (where I live the school district is paid through attendance), then there should be no problem teaching children who want to learn. What we get back in a better-educated population and goodwill make the effort worthwhile.

Instead, these kids will have no future and will be limited to lives marked by poverty. I guess they have futures as drug cartel members or as coyotes. But I guess that's OK because these kids were born on the wrong side of a bureaucratic line.
They can be in poverty in their own country, not ours.

Our kids are getting hurt by the illegals being here, they are filling up classrooms that are suppose to have 20-22 kids and now are jamming 30-35 kids per classroom. Many of them illegal criminal kids.

This hurts the REAL citizens of the US, so deport them all, every one of them who are here illegally.

Prove you belong here or go home.

Imagine if the country were filled with people like this. Isn't that a nightmare? Luckily, it's only an extremist wingnut minority.

Even though I already have three children in the public school district, I still had to provide proof of residency in order for my fourth child to enter kindergarten. I also had to prove he was who I said he was (by providing a birth certificate) and that he was up to date on all inocculations.
This should be a nation of one law - not laws depending upon your demographic.

Why not let all those sick infected flu ridden kids stay at your house and wat your food for free.
Why not harbor a criminal illegal and protect them from those of us who only want real Americans here.
By the way, we have to show proof at my kids school anyway, so what is wrong with this being required?

Prove it or go the hell home and take your diseases with you.

Let me be more clear --- everyone should be under the onus to uphold the law whether it be state or federal. There should not be one set of laws for citizens and another for immigrants - legal or not.
I'm surprised that a liberal would want to keep a two tiered legal system?

All school districts in the DFW area require you to provide some document like a closing statement from a home purchase when you move here and enroll your kids in school. No proof no enrollment.

I have no trouble carrying & showing my TX drivers license or passport to anyone who asks

I can see you don't live in an area where your schools are being pressed trying to educate illegal alien kids. Do we educate all Mexico or just the millions who can illegally cross the border ?
