SEATTLE -- A Tacoma gun shop linked to the D.C. sniper case isn't getting its firearms license back.
U.S. District Judge Ricardo S. Martinez ruled Friday the government properly revoked the license of Bull's Eye Shooter Supply, where John Allen Muhammad and teen accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo obtained weapons.
No License for Wash. Gun Shop Linked to DC Snipers (http://www.newsmax.com/us/us_sniper_gun_shop/2009/09/28/265682.html - broken link)
Sloppy record-keeping seems to be the culprit for denying the license, not the magnitude of the crime perpetrated by the weapons sold.
Anyone disagree?
If there was any actual criminal responsibility involved with the sale of the Bushy that was used in these crimes, the shop owner would have BBQd a long time ago. His lic. isn't getting renewed, he's not going to jail. This is not really a smashing blow for gun control advocates. Just an irresponsible shop owner being put out of business.

if sloppy record keeping is the reason why F-troop is not giving their license back, then maybe the batf should be put out of business as well. their record keeping is worse than anyones else in the private sectors.
