He lived with his wife for many years prior to getting married.

If I were CBS I'd look into the matter to CYA. Annual sexual harassment training covers this type of situation all the time. In their situation the boss wants some play from a nice looking younger employee and uses his position to gain favors either through the promise of extra pay/benefits or with threats of her loosing the job.

This is the guy who dogged Palin's daughter for no reason.

Maybe his employees were no longer young enough for him?

"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." It is none of your business what Letterman did. His wife is the one who will judge his actions. As long as he did not force his coworkers to sleep with him, he did not violate any law. Is there any man on CD that never cheated on his wife or girlfriend? I strongly doubt that. I do not think it is ok to cheat, but I am not the one who should judge a person that has cheated on someone.

And what goes around comes around. Its really nasty to go after Palin's daughter like he did.

I never cheated on someone I was in a committed relationship with. I didn't have sex outside my first marriage until we'd begun divorce proceedings.

If people think it was wrong what he did, then why do these people do the same and make comments on what he did?

People shouldn't judge someone by that kind of mistake. He is going to have enough trouble at home. But I guess that is the nature of people.
