You need to include Reagan in that list. He's the one who got the debt ball rolling.
the debt was rolling way b4 him.Reagan wasn't perfect. but was way better than these four.Hell if some of thing I've read about JFK are true and things he wanted to due. He would be better than them
Seriously, name one thing he or his congress has done for our economy in the last 9 months. It keeps getting worse and he's over in Denmark. We're surpassing 9.8% unemployment and the only thing he hints at is extending unemployment benefits. Right, band-aid the problem.
The fools who voted for him deserve what they get. Anyone who has experienced Illinois politics first hand knew what was coming. Like Carter before him, Obama will teach an entire generation about the failures of socialism and big government. In that way, he will be a success.

One issue Reagan ran on was Carter's debt. He equated it with a large federal government run amok. However, from Truman through Carter the trend for national debt as a part of the gross domestic product was downward. At the end of Reagan's eight years the trend was redirected upward and hasn't reversed since then.
It used to be that Republicans were the party of fiscal responsibility and they dampened (or reversed) the Democratic enthusiasm to spend. Republicans thought they could not get elected if they didn't run on that philosophy. Then Reagan came along and showed Republicans that they could win while spending like Democrats.
Now, there is no viable counterweight to government spending and we are in tremendous debt. That is why I include Reagan on the "sucks" list.

Actually, he tripeled the national debt and said that deficits don't matter.

I see what your saying.Reagans spending had a reason behind it.Republican today spend to spend just like a democrat does.

The reason was his desire to expand government spending, which is exactly what he did. I don't care how many times he said he wanted to cut spending, when his actions did the exact opposite.
For example, during Reagan’s eight years in office, the federal government spent a total of about 22% of GDP. (That’s the biggest-spending eight years since World War II.) Spending grew from $678 billion to $1.14 trillion. So much for cutting government.
Reagan also escalated the War on Drugs, heightened trade barriers, and increased farm subsidies. And of course, he sent the federal debt through the roof.
