No, that is not correct. The doctors who were present support a single payer option. Obama publicly states that this is not his goal.

Doctors overwhelmy support health care reform. After all, when they get their MD diplomma they swear over the oath of Hypocrates, that explicty states that a doctor's main aim should be taking care of his patient, regardless of economical or other kind of issue. The AMA only represents about 18% of total American doctors, however is a very powerful lobby. They want to keep their privileges at any cost. Someone defined it as a country club for MD's, and I couldn't agree more.

What's surprising is you think I would care about the anonymous opinion of me by someone on an internet forum.

Anyway, my point was "ask stupid question get stupid answers". I really have no agenda. Just dismayed by the lack of logic in this thread and the illogical tone of politics as of late.

People are upset for the sake of being upset. The never get to the facts as they are in an uproar as soon as the other side opens thier mouth. And then delve into personal attacks as you have in the post I am replying to.
