Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Frank Williams resigned this week amid allegations that he had an affair with a woman who is now in a divorce proceeding with her husband.
However, the details of all this, none of which Williams has denied, would make just about anyone queasy.
Story.
Williams, who retired just two years short of a 100% state pension, was appointed by Republican Governor Lincoln Almond in 2001. President G.W. Bush appointed Williams a Chief Judge of the United States Court of Military Commission Review in 2003.
