In 2006, a group led by KKR & Co., Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and Five Mile Capital Partners acquired the lender GMAC LLC's commercial-real estate business and renamed it Capmark. As of March 31, the investor group owned about 75% of the company, with GMAC and its employees owning the balance.

The Horsham, Pa., company recently reported a $1.6 billion second-quarter loss and warned it might be forced to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. KKR has already written down its investment in Capmark to zero.

GS is earning billions in profits, despite their losses in Capmark. Do you understand they are different companies and a judge can not go after assets of one company to compensate for losses in another?

are you oblivious to reality?

these executives know that the dollar is going to collapse, that the economy is going to get so bad that 1 out of every 3 people will have a job, and that the dollar is going to be abandoned for a world currency controlled by the elite world bankers... they are taking the dollars, and buying real assests for themselves for protection when the **** hits the fan

they are only being smart...

you are sitting on a computer worrying about $250,000,000 givin to business executives... when at the same time the government and the federal reserve together, have given out over $9,000,000,000,000 to all the financial businesses, auto companies, banks, foreign gov'ts and companies, and much of the money ben bernake will not let us know where it went...
