I'm always suprised this movie wasnt more popular, some big cult following, tea party protestors playing it during their protests etc. heck an arugment could be made that liberals should have loved it during the Bush years..

Isn't it ironic that Hollywood always portrays evil and oppression in the future as Big Government yet we are heading right down that path? Government control and the loss of freedoms that come with it. Yet there are people daily who deny this again and again. And now I am waiting for some liberal puke to ask, "what freedoms have you lost"?

and it it is that very same hollywood that supports the political party that is making it happen as well as supporting communist dictators like Castro, Kim, Chavez, and Hussain.

This is why it makes no sense to differentiate between Castro and Hitler. They are both leftist dictators, regardless of xenophobic tendencies or using religion (or lack thereof) as a means of control.

I remember this from school...I can't watch youtube at work but if i remember correctly they were plotting to blow up parliment and kidnap the people's kids, right?

I don't recall a kidnapping threat, but yes to parliament being blown up. I would imagine that'd happen here (eventually) if government got as oppressive as it did in the movie.
