WTF difference does that make?!
Did you even read the post that I was responding to?
Yes, I did read the post you were responding to.
The difference it makes is that Obama declaring it a National Emergency was not because people should flip out and panic due to a flu - He simply declared it as such to free up additional resources.
We should all have had the shot for this flu available by last September. He is responsible for that. Actually he doesn't take responsibility for anything. I am sure Bush is at fault because we don't have the vaccine.
It is one thing to see the statistics. It is another when you see the people in intensive care. Some of them did not die, but they have after effects from this flu. Sorry excuse for a president.
I forgot to add. I think it is interesting that he made sure his criminal friends got the shot before the rest of us. He said he felt responsible for them. When is he going to start realizing his first responsibility is to the American people. We seem to always come out last in his priorities, expecially senior citizens.
Obama is responsible for the virus not growing well in the eggs? As someone else said, maybe he should have gone in to the lab and entertained it or something.
It took 7 years for the American death toll (from all causes including non-combat deaths) to reach 4000. It has taken 7 months for the virus to exact the same toll, mostly among the very young. This will soon become a political problem for the Obama administration, in addition to being a public health catastrophe. The administration has totally botched the government response to this pandemic.
Funny because according to the CDC as of 10/31/09 only 672 people have died in the US.
I guess there estimates were WAAAAAAAY off consider the reporting time is as of November 3rd.
Those are people who tested positive for H1N1. That is an expensive test and is only done on selected hospitalized people. Dr's office tests only test for type A influenza, 99% of which are H1N1, based on the above testing. Most people are not even tested, b/c if you are low risk, you are told to stay home and treat your symptoms.

No the OP said 4000 people had died and that is NOT true only 672 have. You posted an article that clearly says ESTIMATE through out the entire thing. The actual number are in the link I provided by the CDC and are as of November 3rd.

"Only" 672 deaths have been positively linked to H1N1. Not everyone who has died has been tested for it. Please try to understand this process.
