From the bottom of my heart. I hope the GOP finds someone like him again to run for office.
He was one for the record books!
I forgot to turn around and look at him, just listened. Did he show any signs of using a teleprompter? He always used notes but didn't have to read his speeches.
Wasn't it great to hear a real man speak again..Hearing good old George again, makes me even more sad with the cowardly socialist we're stuck with for ONLY THREE MORE YEARS...! The time can't go fast enough...
In re the graph, I especially like that the "Yee haw, let's kill us some towel heads" period lasted a whole two months. Bush wasn't even competent enough to exploit American xenophobia, a task about as hard as exploiting hunger in a pack of wild dogs, longer than that.
Also amusing is the 35 percent swing for "No, we don't approve of the job the President's doing" to "Yes, we do" based not on anything Bush actually did, but on the fact we were attacked by terrorists. It's like saying the Chipotle on your block is crappy, then responding to it getting held up at gunpoint by saying it's great. Good to know 35 percent of the nation are complete ****wits. Seriously, it's useful info.
