I know that there are many good people that believe in the basic principals of conservatism but they also don't believe , or follow, the Republican party of today. To those people this story is not for you........

"Always the political instrument of moneyed elites, and a retrograde societal force, the GOP today is more negatively impactful than ever. Its agenda, if fully implemented, would prove catastrophic. Here's what an unfettered Republican Party would do "for" America:"

Funny, but sad article wriiten by an obvious left wing bedwetting radical. Funny in the sense that someone could be that ignorant. Sad in the sense that there are people that are that hateful and bigoted in their views

My first question for the author would be "sir, were you abused as a child?"

Have you read the official Republican party platform documentation?
This article is spot-on.

Where is this alleged "Republican party platform documentation" that you supposedly read. Don't answer. I already know you made it up because it doesn't exist.

Lets compare two lists
15 things Republicans would do if they had the chance.
15 things Democrats would do if they had the chance.
1) Greatly reduce or entirely eliminate taxes on the rich, thereby forcing hard-pressed working families to painfully make up resulting revenue shortfalls.
1) Greatly increase taxes on the rich, thereby forcing them to fire hard-pressed working families to painfully make up resulting revenue shortfalls.
2) Bust labor unions, cruelly preventing the collective bargaining that's the key reason why US workers ever won decent wages and benefits.
2) Empower labor unions, cruelly letting them become the very thing they were created to fight against..
3) Stubbornly deny the existence of ominous climate change while blithely pumping more pollutants into the environment from lucrative, dirty industries and practices. Although reputable scientists say 350 carbon parts per atmospheric million is the safe limit for sustained life on Earth, Republicans dismiss the frightening fact that we're already at a carbon level of roughly 390 ppm.

3) Stubbornly embrace the fallacy of ominous climate change while blithely pumping more pollutants into the environment to promote their cause and line their pockets with money made off mythical carbon offsets.
4) Remove "restrictive" regulations on everything from investment banks and credit card companies to a broad array of "profit-eroding" consumer protections, leaving the American masses exposed to a host of resulting abuses and dangers.
4) Force policies on everything from investment banks and credit card companies to a broad array of "profit-eroding" consumer protections, and cause things such as the collapse in the housing market, bailouts, etc..
5) Continue to criticize and insufficiently fund public education, advocating private schooling instead, thus entirely ignoring that progressive public systems are used in every country that has education outcomes superior to our own.
5) Continue to criticize private school vouchers, thus entirely ignoring that our schools have higher funding yet aren't as educated as progressive public systems in every country that has education outcomes superior to our own.
6) Outlaw abortion, under a fraudulently moral guise, compelling the US to bloodily join those benighted, backward nations where thousands of already-born, living, breathing, socially functioning females perish because of sexist denials of their basic reproductive rights.
6) Keep abortion legal, under a fraudulently moral guise, compelling the US to bloodily join those benighted, backward nations where thousands of already-born, living, breathing, socially functioning babies are killed as to not inconvenience the mother.
7) Continue to recite a Pledge of Allegiance whose last six words are "with liberty and justice for all," while remaining numbly oblivious to the harsh hypocrisy of preventing our homosexual citizens from marrying.
7) Continue to recite a Pledge of Allegiance whose last six words are "with liberty and justice for all," and think that homosexuals should have special rights because of their sexual preference

8) Speak often and loftily of freedom, but engage in secret wiretapping, repression of domestic dissent, neo-McCarthyite witch hunts, Red-baiting name calling, and a panoply of Patriot Act transgressions against the Constitution of the United States...all under the misused rubric of "national security."
8) Speak often and loftily of freedom, but engage in secret wiretapping, repression of domestic dissent, neo-McCarthyite witch hunts, Red-baiting name calling, and a panoply of Patriot Act transgressions against the Constitution of the United States...all which is ok if the president is a Democrat.."
9) Show the rest of humankind nothing but bullying world-cop arrogance through endless US interventions and aggressions on foreign soil, resulting not just in countless lives extinguished in indefensible wars, and billions of badly-needed dollars flushed down the drain, but constant al Qaeda recruitment against hated Yankee interlopers.
9) Show the rest of humankind nothing but cowardice through endless US pandering, resulting not just in countless lives extinguished in undefended attacks, and billions of badly-needed dollars flushed down the drain, but constant al Qaeda recruitment against self loathing Yankees that will cower at every turn.
10) Generally drive down the income levels of America's working-class majority, as a purported cost-saving corporate measure, without appreciating that a populace that's too poor to buy back what society produces is doomed to economic ruin. A living wage is the ultimate "stimulus," but try to find even one Republican who favors it!
10) Generally drive down the income levels of America's working-class majority, as a purported revenue increasing measure, without appreciating that raising taxes on corporations raises taxes on the poor and creates a populace that's too poor to buy back what society produces!
A free market system is the ultimate "stimulus" but try to find one Democrat who favors it

11) Continue to lie about the alternative, affordable health care for all that some fifty world nations' people overwhelmingly support, thereby propagandistically leading Americans to think that having private insurance whose premiums are rising at rates three times higher than our pay -- and which routinely denies coverage when it's required most -- is somehow preferable
11) Continue to lie about the alternative, affordable health care that some fifty world nations' overwhelmingly have showed to be a failure, thereby propagandistically leading Americans to think that having government controlled insurance is somehow preferable12) Unleash de facto ethnic cleansing against 12 million immigrant men, women, and children, making them contemporary equivalents of the Jewish scapegoats that Hitler blamed for hardships Germans experienced during a prior period of capitalist economic distress.
12) Unleash de facto ethnic race baiting to gain the vote of 12 million illegal immigrants, men, women, and children, so that liberals can make the ridiculous arguement that they are the contemporary equivalents of the Jewish scapegoats that Hitler blamed for hardships Germans experienced during a prior period of capitalist economic distress.
13) Shamefully try to lend credence to their avarice and social irresponsibility by revising the Bible to obscure passages that place human need before abject greed, attempting to turn it into a facilitating guide for modern peers of the temple moneychangers whose tables Jesus angrily knocked to the floor (and who undoubtedly wouldn't be mentioned in the amended version that one conservative group is actually, amazingly trying to put into circulation).
13) Shamefully try to lend credence to their avarice and social irresponsibility by revising the Bible.
14) Give full vent to the intensely bigoted hatred that has crazed extremists dreaming of literally tearing Barack Obama to pieces and gassing all liberals...if only they could.
14) Give full vent to the intensely bigoted hatred that has crazed extremists dreaming of literally tearing Sarah Palin to pieces and gassing all non-liberals...if only they could.15) Place the livelihoods and lives of over 300 million Americans in the hands of incompetent ideological "purists" such as Sarah Palin.
15) Place the livelihoods and lives of over 300 million Americans in the hands of incompetent ideological "purists" such as Barak Obama.

Both lists are stupid and so are the people that wrote them.

"for" America is right. And the poor sheep just defend it to the death.

Among all the things I hate about the right wing mindset this might be the worst:

"13) Shamefully try to lend credence to their avarice and social irresponsibility by revising the Bible to obscure passages that place human need before abject greed, attempting to turn it into a facilitating guide for modern peers of the temple moneychangers whose tables Jesus angrily knocked to the floor (and who undoubtedly wouldn't be mentioned in the amended version that one conservative group is actually, amazingly trying to put into circulation)."

Regarding the author of the list, the internet offers the ignorant a bully pulpit where the doe-eyed read and listen intently.

Number 1 is a half lie. Cutting taxes raises revenue. Under GWB middle class and lower paid a smaller portion of the American tax bill than under Clinton

2 is true. We need to bust labor unions

3. There is no AGW. Carbon is natural and the climate has been warmer before the industrial period.

Cant get past three. I now have tired head induced by this insipid liberal diatribe

Truer words were never spoken. Intriguing article, thanks for posting it. It's worth noting two things that keep Republicans in power in the first place:

1) Power of propaganda
2) Ignorance of their base

Also, Republicans are already doing some of the things listed, like the first three, and have been doing these for decades:

Quote:
1) Greatly reduce or entirely eliminate taxes on the rich, thereby forcing hard-pressed working families to painfully make up resulting revenue shortfalls.
Yup
2) Bust labor unions, cruelly preventing the collective bargaining that's the key reason why US workers ever won decent wages and benefits.
Yup
3) Stubbornly deny the existence of ominous climate change while blithely pumping more pollutants into the environment from lucrative, dirty industries and practices. Although reputable scientists say 350 carbon parts per atmospheric million is the safe limit for sustained life on Earth, Republicans dismiss the frightening fact that we're already at a carbon level of roughly 390 ppm.
