First, he's going to illegally take $200 billion from TARP and spend it on another stimulus to "create" jobs. Isn't that what the first stimulus was all about? Creating Jobs?

Isn't this a glaring admission that his stimulus has failed completely?

What about the $500 billion still unspent in the original stimulus? Why not redirect some of that money for his lame attempt at job creation?

FACT CHECK: Obama likes both sides of an argument

Quote:
OBAMA: "We were forced to take those steps largely without the help of an opposition party which, unfortunately, after having presided over the decision-making that led to the crisis, decided to hand it over to others to solve," he said, describing his administration's infusions of money to banks and the auto industry.
What a small, little man-child he is. The point at which he can continue to blame his predecessor is long gone.

THE FACTS: Obama's partisan swipe glosses over some of the circumstances before he took office. First, he and his fellow Democrats presided over some of the decision-making that led up to the crisis, because they controlled Congress for two years before Obama became president. Obama's Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner also had a hand, as chief of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York under the Bush administration.
He really is nothing more than a slick con man.

What he didn't say was that he is fianlly admitting that his stimuls was a flop and it didn't simulate jobs and is 758 billion down the specail interest drain. now he wants another chnce to spend TARP money on his schemes that don't work.time to cut the kid's credit card up and pay on the original loan.

Someone should tell Obama that HE was in Congress at the time the crisis became a crisis... His "opposition party" that he's bemoaning about not having support from, most likely wasnt even invited to the table..

TARP and STIMULUS both failed to get money back into the private sector. Absolutely freaking mind blowing.

TARP and Stimulus funds were used to grow the gov't by +2million people.

TARP funds paid off AIG, CITI, etc. Bought GM. Invested in the SEIU pension. Paid off debt from schools and cities who cant balance their books.

Wanna see how else they are squandered Stimulus funds, here.

My favs: ~$1.5M for Head Start. NOT ONE JOB CREATED. But someone gets a pay raise, (conjecture) I bet they're in the teachers union too. Increase the compensation and benefits of staff/contracted staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program. Someone else received a grant for about ~$250K for Explaining the African Vote. There was another one, $350,000 for PRENATAL DEPRESSION AND A YOGA INTERVENTION. I'm not making this stuff up.

This is where OUR stimulus money is going; not to the private sector which creates jobs but to pet projects and special interests (ones Obama likes).

Take a gander at that link I provided. It's almost all 501Cs that are receiving the funds. There's little being invested in our infrastructure and there's almost zero benefit for the middle class in any of these projects. The stimulus is blood money to buy the administration support from all the federal dependent agencies who live and survive off of grant money.

I've written one grant before but worked with all kinds of social services in Philadelphia. It is very obvious reading the descriptions of the various projects listed as who's receiving the bulk of stimulus funds. SOCIAL SERVICE groups. These people have professional grant writters; that's what they do for funding to survive. Now they have one giant piggy bank to withdrawl from and very little over sight. This is exactly what is going on people.

It frustrates me, I'm business and I know sole proprietors and other business owners who will vouche that the credit and stimulus money is not trinkling down to them. Lines of credit are drying up and new ones are not being extended. The people who create jobs are not getting the stimulus money.

Nothing but a con man.
