RALEIGH, N.C. - Sarah Palin says the United States should rededicate itself to seeking God's will, arguing that a humble spirit could help leaders get more answers on issues such as health care, energy and national security.

In a video released Friday by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the 2008 Republican candidate for vice president said it's important for leaders to acknowledge they don't have all the answers.

Oh yeah. The U.S. should ask the imaginary man in the sky about how to fix the economy, end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, stop people from murdering each other, end child poverty and hunger, etc.

I'm sure that'll work just dandy.

Default Palin says nation should rededicate itself to God

Palin doesn't speak for the nation. She should remember that.

When did the nation dedicate itself to God the first time?

That is such a hack politician's line, they've been braying it for 200 years.

It's a lot easier to get knee-jerk applause out of jingo than to face problems and deal with them in a practical manner.

I'll look forward to Levi Johnston's response. I take him more seriously than I do her.

She is a bozo. What shocks me is that if a group or culture form a norm belief that is delusional by literal definition it is not considered a delusion by the mental health profession.

Another way to say that modern America should be like 14th Century Europe, except with modern technology.
