"Nuff said" and "wearing Depends" dont really say anything. Care to back up your opinion?

how quaint of the news only reporting only some of the important news, and not all of the news.
For starters, this is a story that isn't about American climatologists. That may play into your perceived "lack of coverage"... I know you all want the newspapers and television media to come out in full denounciation of global warming over this, but it isn't going to happen...

Funny political cartoon in the USA Today yesterday that captured MY attitude on this entire debate....

Sums up what I've been saying since this debate started. Instead of arguing this, why are we not making bigger strides toward all of these goals and getting ourselves out from under dependence on fossil fuels?

Answer: Political lobbies are protecting the oil and coal industries with EVERYTHING they have because they are multi-billion (probably trillion) dollar industries... To go back to another thread where we discussed "hoodwinking" constituents. This is a great one. Many on the Conservative side are SOOOOOOOO concerned about proving that climate change isn't caused by man, or simply isn't happing that they are ignoring the FACT that we SHOULD be doing a great portion of things that are being proposed anyway, if for no other reason than it is better in the long-term for the country and the world....

It's so rediculously common-sense that it baffles me that many don't see it. Conservatives these days are so busy fighting (so they think) because they don't want their grandchildren to have to pay for the "mistakes" they think we are making today financially, and then, in a WONDERFUL paradox, don't seem to give a **** about the environment that they will be inheriting....

THERE is some first rate logic for ya...
