I didn't read the article but what forms of torture did they mention in in. Surely they didn't just say torture and leave it at that. Since I don't read truthout maybe you could tell me the kinds of torture that were used on this man.

There won't be any more innocents taken prisoner since every one of them has to have his Miranda Rights read to him as if he were a citizen of the US and not doing it on the field of battle will allow them to go free. Pelosi is about all I can say for your story.

This is a good point not to mention the fact that GITMO hasn't been officially closed yet. I have no problem with people indicting Bush for this but be fair about this. Obama hasn't been Mr. Antiwar either. He failed to withdraw troops from Iraq like he promised during his campaign. He just increased 30,000 troops in Afghanistan. And he has failed to close down GITMO like he promised. I have no problem blaming Bush but blame his successor as well...President Obama.

But at what point do you respect humanity? Forget laws, religions etc. At what point do you look past your b.s. and understand this was a human being who was tortured regardless if his name isn't George Smith of Falls Baptist Church in Texas?
