12-8-9 -- The first decade of the 21st century is going out the same way it came in with a bust and a bang. The dot-com bubble burst in 2000, and the Bailout Bubble will bust in 2010.9/11 terror ushered America into the decade, and terror will strike again before the decade ends. The decade long wars waged by US and NAT0 against Afghanistan and Iraq are leading the world to the first Great War of the 21st Century. The 20th century belonged to America, in 2010 Empire America will be breaking apart. The signs are there for all to see.World leaders and most economists see a very different future unfolding. They insist the financial crisis is over and recovery is on the way. On the military front, America's new Commander in Chief, Congress and the generals promised their war strategy will bring victory abroad and keep the homeland terror free. Fed a steady diet of junk news du jour by the Cartoon News Networks, the general public remains largely oblivious or at best, grossly misinformed. As 2009 ends, the misadventures of Tiger Woods and the White House party crashers top the media menu. Breaking Point 2010

Default recall these famous lines?

A few good men had this same argument:

"You want answers?"
'I want the truth'
"You can't handle the truth!"

......it still applies today. The masses can't handle the truth. When they are forced to, watch out for the falling sparks!

Another unhappy conservo, yearning for the "good old days" of Bush and Cheney.

Instead of a hard, fast crash I expect a slow breakdown like a house rotten and filled with termites. Instead of falling and clearing the way to start over, the entrenched parasites and big government continues to paint over the economy and deny that it can fail. This crash may take a decade to run its course, we have already been going downhill since the 70's.

Yeppers! News is junk, full of distractions while the public runs around with blinders on. The super elite pulls the strings of congress and elected leaders. Laws being passed to align the banks with the U.S. government and the people told "it's to protect them from future meltdowns" it's all lies, junk and distractions from the truth. And majority of Americans swallow it down like grandma's homemade apple pie. When in the world are we all going to wake up and see the nightmare of this huge Federal Beast that has been created? Raping us all of our most precious gift-The Declaration Of Independence? Next step is the Feds in full body gear busting down my door for just writing this. Is this the America WE want? Or is everyone gonna sit back and just let them do anything at all they want???

Why is it that liberals will talk about Bush/Cheney whenever someone is unhappy with Obama... I mean the ignorance is amazing... here is a clue to you liberals, almost everybody hates Bush/Cheney... albeit Kerry/Gore would of been just as bad choices... so give it a rest and grow up...

Imagining that someone is going to come after you is just a desperate reach for some sense of self-importance. In actuality, you are all but invisible. No one is going to bother with you at all. No one really cares what you write or think. That's what liberty is about.

Why is it that when liberals bring up Bush/Cheney, it is so often preceded by faux right-wing outrage having been brought up over something Obama has done that Bush/Cheney did and sometimes did in spades without inspiring a single peep out of the right-wing? The hypocrisy here is in the broad-based double-standard that right wingers profess to be unable to see.
