McCain could have vetoed Harry's bought, late voting legislation and Obama can't and won't even though it was written in Harry's office and not on the floor of the Senate or in the committees of the Senate. Change? Way too much of it in the way this one was written, I think.
Speculating that the government is going round up you righties and gas ya again Roy? Ain't gonna happen, heck even the left would not go for that. So far NONE of the specualtion that the right has brought up has occured or even begun to occur so, and we sure have heard many forms of wild speculation. Roy, that is all it is, speculation by those living in fear. None of us, right, left or in between has lost any rights and none of us are going to. I know some of you would like to equate the healthcare reform bill with some sort of evil deed but the reality is we needed some sort of reform. It will take time to get going and I am sure there will be modifications as to how it is done in the end. What the right should be happy with is that there is no national system such as they have in the rest of the world, yet they still do not want it, is it pure politics or can we assume that Big Insurance owns the Republican Party these days, follow the $$.

Jadex, you are aware that NYPost is owned by newscorp (fox news), Obamas most publicized and open critics?

Im not saying a lot of people do not agree with the OP link statement, but I am saying I dont trust much of what they say on the matter. About as much as Id trust moveon back when Bush was in charge.

Absolutely stunning the proclamations of people these days concerning the future of this country. Does anyone know? If anyone, just one person, knew with any certainly what the future holds, that person would be the richest person second to none.

It took Bush and Republicans 8 years to dig this country into a serious, serious, deep hole. Because President Obama has not dug us out of that hole within a year is cause for people to question this country's future? Just ridiculous.

This president was given the worst mess in history, IN HISTORY! He's methodically resolving the problems and I for one have the utmost confidence that he is doing so in a manner that will not only resolve the problems, but do so in a manner that they are not likely to rise again as long as Republicans are not in office.

When did Democrats get majority? Republicans didnt have 8 year majority

Republicans were very wrong for their spending and what they did to this country but for some reason its now ok for democrats to make matters worse. IE spending. Remember how wrong that was of Bush and republicans. Lets also not act like both parties are not to blame for this mess along with the citizens of this country

How about we look up the level or increase in spending when democrats got majority while Bush was president.

I am sick of hearing about Obama got a mess. No one made him apply for this job or accept it. Also he helped create the mess he now whines about having to deal with.

Smart folks have dreaded our future long before anyone heard the name Obama. Nice try though.
