But would it be right to communicate with someone who still supports racism? I have been attacked by hard-core Confederates who denounce racism. They can be mean but at least they do not accept racism. I don't know how to talk to someone who claims to be a racist [too close for comfort

I know I probably shouldn't get this thread started again but I have to comment on this. So Libs like to play God, what about the many many right-wingers who think it is fine to strap a man to a chair and fry him like a pork chop? Don't you think the taking of a life through capital punishment is playing God? You can't have it both ways, sorry.
Maybe Obama is getting back what he gives out. Obama hates the American way of life and the freedoms we have always enjoyed. Obama hates hard-working Americans. Turn about is fair play don't ya think???????

Did you forget how much of Bush's past was sealed up? Did that lead you to the same conclusion or are the facts only applicable when they support your view? I'm not an Obama supporter, by the way so this isn't a partisan response, it's a logical one.

The hatred shown for GWB on these internet forums was/is worse. Go check out Democratic Underground. Even now, 1 year later, they savage him.
Oh, and the "racist" hatred of Barry....Can you tell me why so many, many, many conservatives/republicans admire and support Justice Thomas? And why you "enlightened" lefties tried to destroy him?
Not to mention the horrid treatment of Condoleeza Rice. Remember those racist cartoons? Do you think that liberal cartoonist was a racist?
Hate to interject reality into this, but conservatives don't much give a rats behind what race Barry is. He's a fraud. Not up for the job. His policies are socialist/marxist. He is slowly being exposed. The Hopenchange express is going off the tracks....You on the left can cry racism all day long and, guess what? Nobody cares! Your race baiting isn't working anymore.
Barry sucks and that has nothing to do with his racial make-up.
And Bush sucked for real reasons too. It's a pity conservatives can't see it. All they'll ever admit to is the he was a RINO or that he really was a liberal (OMG!), but they don't ever fully and openly admit to the mistake he was for our country. GWB did everything wrong in my book. I hate the man, I hate his picture, I hate his voice, I'll even hate his library! Ha ha. And as much as I realize this sounds imbalanced, it should serve to show that my love for my country, the environment, peace, fiscal responsibility, and the fair treatment of other human beings is so strong that I will go off the deep end to maintain and support it. Surely the loony right can relate to that.
In case you haven't noticed this forum leans heavily to the right. I bet they would be critical of the way he defecates too which is one of the reasons I barely post in here. Conservatives are angry but weren't angry enough to get McCain elected last year. They are bitter now and have to live with the consequences.
Yes, you certainly can't judge Obama's support from this forum. Few supporters don't even bother going on this particular sub-forum anymore because we see that the comments are now pretty much limited to the right-wingers and their skewed views to justify their hatred of him. Yeah, you got it - hatred - bigotry, whatever. Who still pays attention to such moronic posts?
I don't particularly believe a word out of any politician's mouth, but this hatred of Obama is out of control. He has been president for roughly a year and there are over twenty pages worth of results from his name in these forums. Bush was president for eight years and there are about 11 pages of results when a search is done on him. Quite a few of these threads with Bush's name are actually about Obama. Why the hatred besides racism? Bush did an incredible amount of damage and stripped America of many rights. He lied outright to this country's people and failed to stop the single most horrendous terrorist attack on American soil. I am not partisan. It just disturbs me to see such a mindset of hatred over such simple (in comparison) acts while president. What do people think is the real reason? I tend to think there is still a lot of closet racism against others in this country. I also tend to think part of this is from the even worse economic situation which tends to drive people over the edge. What do you think?

Did we call any one who was against Bush his policies a "hatred" person? No we didn't since most of us don't believe in personal attacks but responding to the actions and policies of the person in charge.
Non of what Obama did has made me change my mind about him and actually I wish I could have said I was wrong...because most of us want what is best for this country and hatred won't help any of us...jobs will help, tax cuts will, being safe and having some one in charge that knows what he is doing instead of bowing for a muslim and stating the muslim faith is one of peace!
On top of that Obama stated clearly that if the stimilus wasn't accepted the jobless rate would go to 8% well it was accepted and now it is 10%!!!! Instead of the 3 million jobs he promissed we lost an additional 3 million jobs, which is a difference of 6 million jobs!
Napolitana stated the attack that didn't succeeded proved security worked...so passengers who took it upon themself's to safe life's is according to Napolitana's statement "security having worked"...
So why are there now even more strict rules if security worked....
Where is the pork spending that Obama promissed not have under his presidency...even bigger!
So tell me why we are hatred towards Obama, when we have so much proof of a bad and already the worst president ever leading the USA!!!!!
