What makes for an outrageous lawsuit? Try a convicted double murderer suing for the ownership of his victims' car or a tourist suing a hotel because, she claimed, its pool got her daughter pregnant.

You need to do it to the juries of these trials, not the ones doing the lawsuits. Stupid stuff like this will continue until people stop giving other folks free paydays.

This kind of crap is why I do not believe in our jury system. This is something in the American judicial system that I want to see changed.

Only the jury members who vote to give them their payday. I was on a lawsuit jury. Walmart wanted to pay for the guy's medical expenses and lost wages. He got greedy. His lawyer wanted $375,000. Walmart even admitted partial responsibility for the accident. We gave him $25,000. He and his lawyer weren't happy. We did have a few people on the jury who wanted to give him the fully dollar amount because Walmart could afford it. They were shot down quickly.
