Obama promises justice for Christmas terror plotters - CNN.com

"Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred, and ... we will do whatever it takes to defeat them and defend our country." President Obama.

"I've made it a priority to strengthen our partnership with the Yemeni government -- training and equipping their security forces, sharing intelligence and working with them to strike al Qaeda terrorists," he said.

Obama promised that "all those involved in the attempted act of terrorism on Christmas must know you, too, will be held to account," Obama said.

Eat your heart out and weep right wingers. Keep on listening to Dick Cheney who does know a single thing he is saying and ironically enough, stayed silent most of the years he was Vice President. Now he decided to start yapping.

Thank you, President Obama.

The idea of going to war puts a light into many eyes and a fuzzy feel-good-doing-the-right-thing attitude. Some people like war.

Eight days later and after the most critical political scrutiny and criticism he has faced since being in office. He was shamed into it.
Charles Krauthammer : War? What War? - Townhall.com

Weak; though, better late than never. He is not instilling confidence in his roll to date as Commander-in-Chief.

Who sets the bar for what the President should or should not do and when they should do it? The friggin GOP? Really?

All they ever do is try to regulate what something is or not; one look no further than the "Institute of marriage" crap they spew.

Screw them.

Was ramping up security internationally, beginning to hunt down anyone connected to the attempted attack, and initiating a full investigation into where the system broke down, all in the day of or immediately after the attempt, not enough for you?

Perhaps you would have been satisfied if President Obama came up to the mike the first day, pumped his fist, and just yelled, "WAR MOTHERF'ERS!!!!"

Yea, the GOP faithfuls never had an issue with his no bid contracts for Halliburton, even after they were caught fleecing the American tax payer MILLIONS of dollars.

Has the Obama administration severed all ties with KBR now ?
If not then they are just continuing the fleecing of America.

Reactive national security is a worthless cause when dealing with terrorists. Does anyne expect terrorists to break into the cockpit anymore? Of course not. They know that cockpits are secure now. Pro-active national security is what matters. When you're perpetually behind the curve, it doesn't really matter what you do - it's too little too late.
