Let's say you complain to your employer that you are being discriminated against.
Your employer tells you to see a psychiatrist that the employer knows or to see the corporate counselor. You do and get a diagnosis. Could that inhibit your case against discrimination?
I've heard that getting a whistle-blower or muck raker to get diagnosed with some mental illness like a personality disorder or schizophrenia will discredit them? But even if they are mentally ill does that take away that they faced any type of racism and discrimination? Does it take away their credibility?
