CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - CNN Poll: Americans split on success of Obama presidency « - Blogs from CNN.com

Quote:
Forty-eight percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Tuesday say Obama's presidency has been a failure so far, with 47 percent saying Obama has been a success.
Quote:
"Only 44 percent approve of how Obama is handling the economy; just 4 in 10 give him a thumbs-up on health care and his approval rating on the federal deficit has plunged to 36 percent.
These are devastating numbers. But look at the CNN headline - Americans "split".

They have also failed to release the demographics with this poll.

Amazing isn't it how one man could be the answer to all the worlds problems and now is seen as a laughing stock failure.

Amazing how things work out when you actually are presented as some special once in a lifetime gift and turn out to be just another bum who turned out to be a fake and a failure.

Guess he is not so special after all.

And yes, I see him as a complete and utter failure on all aspects of the job.

If anyone can see anything good the man has done you are welcome to provide us all with the proof the the hope and chain gang has done to better the lives of all Americans.

Wow, big news! America is split on how they view his presidency, just like they have always been split on everything else. What a shocker Sanrene! Thanks for pointing this out!

The real story here that she won't tell you is that the GOP has miserable numbers next to Obama, the country can't stand them for the most part.

So keep on spinning girl, but just like your latest Reid and underwear bomber "outrage" don't think you'll do anything more than feed the right wing fringe. You surely aren't winning any recruits with all this.

No one likes a used car salesman. More emphatically, no one likes a used car salesman from Chicago.

The only people who are surprised by these polls are those who bought a car from a man who touted the new tires while failing to mention that it needed a new transmission.

Millions of people were duped. I'm not one of of those people.

Is deflection from the truth the only card up your sleeve?

The last time I checked, the GOP were out of power. How long must I sit here and shake my head and laugh at this denial complex you folks suffer from?

Seriously. Stop and read what you wrote. It's pure deflection at the most basic level possible. And it's getting old. Open up your eyes and see what's happening in this country for once.

51% approve, 48% disapprove, numbers slightly better than Bush had around the time of Election Day 04 is really devastating.......

Not surprising-it's the economy stupid, and the economy sucks. I'd loved to see a bored grad student dig up a graph on approval ratings relative to unemployment/similarly worthwhile economic indicators. This considered, I bet his approval rates are incredible high, relatively speaking.
