The Dems are jumping ship because they do not want to retire during a losing administration. It's the Dems that are surprised by who has chosen this time to retire, all unexpected.

Surely DemocRATS would be bailing out, because they do see what is coming and don't want to go back after what they are and have been doing.

Again, what is the reason more Republicans are retiring??

BTW, only a few of the Democrats are retiring are Dems from marginal or GOP districts, the majority have been from fairly solid Democratic districts.

Who cares if the RINOS leave. That has been what was wrong with the Republican Party. On the other hand if hussein obama was a success why are so many Democrats leaving? No one leaves a winner but they sure as h*ll run from a loser.
