Why are the majority of pedophiles Caucasian/White?
Is your research paper taking into account that whites still comprise the majority of Americas population? Have you compiled statistics on the racial breakdown of admitted molesters as a percentage of their total respective populations? If you're not thorough with your research, that would make for one very lame report.

Do some Googling. The data doesn't seem to support this. Or at least it's contested.
But again, blacks are disproportionaly represented. Apparently so are whites, LOL! One study shows 80% are white, another that 22% are black. Another common quote is that 15% are black.
For example:

Contrary to popular belief, serial killers span all racial groups. There are white, African-American, Hispanic, and Asian serial killers. The racial diversification of serial killers generally mirrors that of the overall U.S. population.
• Charles Ng, a native of Hong Kong, China, killed numerous victims in Northern California, in concert with Robert Lake.
• Derrick Todd Lee, an African-American, killed at least six women in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
• Coral Eugene Watts, an African-American, killed five victims in Michigan, fled the state to avoid detection, and murdered another 12 victims in Texas, before being apprehended.
• Rafael Resendez-Ramirez, a native of Mexico, murdered nine people in Kentucky, Texas, and Illinois, before turning himself in.
• Rory Conde, a Colombian native, was responsible for six prostitute homicides in the Miami, Florida area."
I notice the chart here says, "Admitted Molesters vrs. All American Men".
Emphasis on "Admitted" and "Men". Seems to leave out some segments.
Other sources show the usual over representation of blacks a perps a shown below.
I.e if he general populace is 12% black, and 19% of the perps are black, you have over representation. Further, if the general populace is 74% white and the perps are 48.5% white, then the opening proposition of this thread is false.
Look if you want to tag something on whites, you probably need to look at economic crime, LOL! On the other hand if you want to look at the effect of financial rigging and game playing, you probably need to look at jewish folks.
The racial distribution of perpetrators was similar to the race of their victims. During FFY 2007, nearly one-half (48.5%) of perpetrators were White and one-fifth (19.0%) were African-American. I'm pretty sure white Caucasians also have a lock on the serial killer category as well.
If you mean, why are the majority of the total number of pedophiles and serial killers in this country white? Well, because there are almost six times more whites in this country than blacks. Blacks would have to be six times more probable of being a pedophile/serial killer to usurp the total number of whites who commit these acts.
Usually statisticians don't weigh their opinion on groups looking at the total number, but more the incidence rate per group. And the incidence rate for blacks in pedophilia and serial murder are actually higher than whites.
I know this is going to sound very harsh, but I have done plenty of research into crime rates in every type of crime imagineable, and I have compared white to black crime rates in each category. Blacks have higher incident rates for every crime group, and its especially bad for violent crime.
While the caucasian group seems to produce slightly more child molesters and the Hispanic/Latin-American and African-American groups seem to produce fewer, we found another possible interpretation.
When we looked at group two, men who were lying or denying (from our complete sample), we found proportionately FEWER Caucasians: 67 percent vs. the 71 percent of Caucasians in our overall sample. For Hispanics/Latin-Americans we found proprtionately MORE people said to be either lying or denying: 14 percent vs 12 percent in our overall sample.
In addition, African-Americans were slightly under-represented in our complete sample. They were only 10 percent of the sample, while they are 12 percent of all U.S. men. African-Americans were over-represented in the lying or denying group. They made up 12 percent of that group. That they were both under-represented in the large complete sample and over-represented in the lying or denying group may suggest that this low number of 6 percent of admitted child molests as African-Americans may not be statiscally significant.
These results (caucasians admitting to being child molesters in proportionally greater numbers and both Hispanics/Latin-Americans and African-Americans admitting to being child molesters in proportionally lower numbers) may also suggest a greater mistrust on the part of the people in ethnic minority groups of the people assessing them.

It doesn't. That is an urban legend. Take it from someone who has a college degree in criminal justice and whose undergrad thesis was written on Megan's Law. Only in the fevered imaginations of Bill O'Reilly and Oprah Winfrey is the system "easy on pedophiles" (or other "sex offenders").
There are teenagers across the country whose lives have been ruined by prosecutions for consensual sex with other teenagers.
There is a man in California doing 15-to-life for sucking on boy's toes.
A teacher in Connecticut was in danger of a 40 year sentence because pornographic pop-ups occurred during an internet presentation to her grade school class.
Anyone who says the U.S. is insufficiently harsh on sexual offenses has absolutely no idea what they are talking about. None at all.
