A WARNING that climate change will melt most of the Himalayan glaciers by 2035 is likely to be retracted after a series of scientific blunders by the United Nations body that issued it.

Hasnain has since admitted that the claim was "speculation" and was not supported by any formal research.

World misled over Himalayan glacier meltdown - Times Online

Global Warming is for suckers. Pop-sci. Like Time's and Newsweek's 1970's Next Ice Age claims.

The majority of European carbon trading is fraudulent.

John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, described the concept of global warming as 'the greatest scam in history' and accused global media of colluding with 'environmental extremists' to alarm the public. He's going as far as suing Gore for fraud.

I expect more fallout like this in the coming years.

Historical context provides good compass points for current trends/fads.

No reading glasses today? I don't even have one. There's nothing to change. I can read the same crap on Fox "News's" website. But their website also says it's "fair and balanced".
That's all you got to know about it.

Exactly my point. Your answer is the same regardless of the topic.

Some people care that the IPCC has used their position to LIE to the world.

Scientifically proven is what you call lies? I figured.

As I read your article, no one seems to be denying the glaciers are melting. Only the rate of melt and more specifically the date the Himalayans glaciers would be gone.

Does anyone have the link to that site that tracks glacier growth/meltdown around the world? (I lost my bookmarks )
Temperatures are very hot this year, Germany has already had 100° in June. New York also reports sizzling temperatures. I bet this will be another record-breaking year. Thus I would like to check the latest data on glaciers worldwide...
