Leave space exploration alone. When we are the only country going broke by going green, we will need some place to go.. after the wealthy countries of China, India and all points Asian have distroyed the air from excessive coal plants.

As to forcing NASA to study global warming: What an insult to NASA, a real science agency, to study a faux science.
Note the date:

"WASHINGTON -- A new NASA-led study shows human-caused climate change has made an impact on a wide range of Earth's natural systems, including permafrost thawing, plants blooming earlier across Europe, and lakes declining in productivity in Africa. "

Their research seems to already be well under way.

I think it's hilarious. NASA has been at the forefront of the global warming scare for a while and Obama pays them back by taking away their candy.

I wonder how long it will be before NASA starts backpedaling on the issue of melting ice caps.

Didn't read the links did you?
The president is increasing/shifting their budget so that they get MORE money to study climate issues.
