That's the maximum penalty for conspiracy and wire fraud. I highly doubt that this guy will look at anything close to that.

Most people from ENRON weren't punished. Politicians are rarely punished.
Everybody wants everyone to go to prison yet prison doesn't reform or re-educate.

If he gets more than a few months for selling a bunch of hacked modems it would be crazy.

So we are supposed to feel for a guy that compired in theft of services. He was clearly a party to theft of service.Rememeber that the 20 years is what is possible. the same guidelines apply to any felony. He is allowed a trial if he has a defense remember.Enron people had a trail;so let this guy gets his trial;that is his right. Some murders get off;some get life ;some get death;that is the reason to have the second phase of a trial;called punishment if found guilty. Some seem to think that some thefts should not be brought to trail and other should. Prejudging as much as declaring a person guilty witout trial. That si not the way it works .

I know that, but the fact you can actually get 20 years for it if it's a big enough enterprise...

That's one year shy of our maximum penalty for murder.
