The ACLU supports the free speech rights of all Americans...even unpopular ones. From Nazis, the KKK, and NAMBLA, to Christmas creche erectors and sidewalk preachers.

If you can't stand up for free speech, what sort of American are you???

I have no problem with the ACLU defending free speech rights for any American. But the f*ckers also do it for illegal aliens who aren't even Americans. The bums at ACLU are extremists and I hope AMericans will stop supporting them.

I'm voting along with you on this. The notion that someone who isn't a citizen--isn't even in this country legally--has "civil rights" is just plain nonsensical. That is, when it's not outright offensive to citizens.

Oh yeah. I wold be outraged over torture and molestation of children. But hey, he's a Liberal, I'm a Liberal, so it's all good. Right? Right?

Some people surely need to get out more and stop devouring blogs and cable news.

Then why isn't the extremely large number of public school teachers having sex with students making national news? This is a position of authority and responsibility directly over the children by state run schools. The list is very long of just the female teachers. The length of the list, had it been priest, would have made it a part of a evening news investigation and reported for weeks on end. The big list: Female teachers with students
The above link list over 175 female teachers. Can't find a list of male teachers caught having sex with their students.

The Supreme Court disagrees with you, as the First Amendment in this case does not define a right, but rather limits a power. In the general case, all those by any means within the area where the First Amendment applies are by default protected by it...
