That sucks. But I've been saying all along the trend will be reversed in August of 2010. It's a long process. Demand has increased substantially and when corporations see their numbers at the end of the 2nd quarter they'll be more likely to hire. Give it time.

The article is about the past historical numbers.

Basically it is saying the recession is/was much deeper then first thought.

36 states reporting declining unemployment - Dec. 18, 2009

Old news, and this was about 2008, last I checked, the current President didn't take office until Jan of 2009
