Obama is a fake Christian that joined the Church in order to get votes in the black Church that is historically anti-abortion and anti-gay.
His support of the LGBT community and the end of Don't Ask, Don't Tell is striking, because now his black Church followers either see him for the phony he is OR because Obama's success represents a greater "blacks over whites achievement" for the black community, these homophobic black communities are willing to check their personal beliefs at the door or the church pew in the hope that their savior succeeds as retribution for all the years of oppression.
Actually Obama had been a regular church-goer for 20 years, well before he ran for any public office.
It's so nice that you claim to speak for God.
Yeah, my opinion on politics is RIGHT, there's NO OTHER WAY! EVEN GOD WOULD AGREE WITH ME YEAH!

Oh how rich, you get to decide who is and isn't a Christian now? How dare you tell others what they do and do not believe?
Pathetic plea to authority. It's easy to say some religious figure that is dead is on your side when they are not going to come down and smite you for it or make a declaration from the clouds.
Oh yeah. This is a classic question. I, personally, wear my "WWJVF?" bracelet all the time.
I kid, of course. It's ridiculous to think that Christ would condone many of the modern politicians we're stuck with, or that he'd have much good to say about most modern religion/churchgoers. The level of greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, etc that we all tolerate and even promote is anathema to the message of Jesus. I CERTAINLY don't think any party has any sort of moral high ground, but tend to see one party claim it more than the other, which is silly.
For most of the conservatives, he is not a true Christian and then they complain that he not tough enough on terror. What would Jesus do after 9/11? Would he turn the other cheek and forgive them? Eye for an eye and revenge are more of an Old Testament thing.

First the easy part, there was nothing in the ministry of the Church of Christ that is anything close to being anti-abortion or anti-gay.
"The United
Church of Christ has supported reproductive rights for more than 30 years, believing that
women have the right to determine when and how many children they should have. We
also have supported access to safe and legal abortion in order to prevent the unnecessary
deaths of women, or permanent damage to them, when illegal procedures are sought.
When abortion is legal, it can be regulated by health and safety laws, thus protecting
patients and health care providers.

"The United Church of Christ (UCC) is an American Protestant denomination with a long history of fighting discrimination based on race, gender, and now sexual orientation and gender identity. Being from the liberal wing of Christianity, they have tended to tackle matters of bigotry and discrimination long before many other denominations.
In 2005, the UCC became the first major Christian denomination in the U.S. to promote same-sex marriage. They confirmed this position in 2007."
Second, and most importantly, as the son of a United Methodist theologian, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that there is nothing more fake than a Christian who believes that they can divine the relationship of one human with Christ.
May I suggest a little less posting of vitrol and little more reading of your book.
Matthew 7.1.5
"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment that you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye," when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye."

The clip is stupid. What point is it suppose to be making -- that Christians don't support the right to choose or that homosexuality is a choice? Anyone who believes that is very limited in knowledge on what some Christians -- some Christian denominations -- believe. Fundies and Roman Catholics don't speak for all Christians.
It really gets twisted when people start judging for themselves about others who is in Jesus/God's favor. Probably better to just worry about yourself and your grace and let the almighty worry about the rest.
