Not in my state. $1200 is too much to qualify.

Again - not in my state.

We have a client who gets unemployment ONLY - $240.00 per week. Has been turned down for AHCCCS (Medicade) in Arizona - TWICE

Next you're gonna say that the government should pay for her mortgage/rent, utilities and food while she's sick?

Seems to me she should have done her research BEFORE she got divorced. The article states she found out she cannot get insurance after the divorce, and, now, wants to get married so that she can have insurance again. If insurance is the only reason for her to get married, why get a divorce in the first place, it's not like she means to love her mate

My friend has MS, makes WAY more money than that, and she qualifies for all sorts of government health care and experimental treatments done at local medical schools. She writes grants and hits the streets and gets her meds.

Not medicaid. There are other programs such as Medicare or WC etc. But you aint going to make X amount of money and collect medical welfare which medicaid is. My wife has reflex sympathetic dystrophy and she qualifies for nothing and she doesn't work, I do.
