I really feel for this woman as it is really sad she would have to resort to this. I hope all you republicans who are supporting blocking health care reform are really proud of yourselves. For an older woman, I will admit she is quite beautiful. This is the only reason I feel she has received over 1,000 marriage proposals. Just think of all the plain looking citizens in the same situation who are going to die instead. God bless her soul as I hope the man she chooses will take good care of her. She has suffered enough as many of us also have.

Marriage has traditionally been a source of financial security. How is this any different?

And since when did female at age 45 become defined as "an older woman"?

Nobody cares about health care anymore. Americans are dumb and would rather not have it.

Seems to me like she is a plant, and this whole thing is B.S. trying to make a political point.

If it is indeed true, I pity the woman and pity the man who marries a divorcee, who is seeking marriage for health insurance, even more.

How so? Women have been turning to marriage for financial security since.......the invention of the ceremony. Health insurance, life insurance, a home, food, etc.... . Nothing new here.

Many men accuse women of "marrying for money". At least this woman is being honest from the get-go about exactly what she is seeking.

Remember the comic on Laugh-In who did the operator skit? Well, she's doing quite well modifying her comedy routine by changing from a telephone operator to telephone support for a health insurance company. She rejects members of their benefits and cancels those who are pretty damn sick.

Times have changed.

So she is willing to prostitute herself for care rather than find a new job, and you think its Republicans that should be the focus of the thread.. ooh more humor.
