LOL..true...or you can have someone who can't hold a coherent conversation in their native language and pronounce words within that language that have more than 3 syllables. I'll take the guy who is polysyllabic and actually understands the words he uses or attempts to use and can actually engage and debate world leaders and leaders of opposition parties w/out using terms such as "Dead or Alive" or "Great job" or "fool me..er...shame on...er..."

I'm sure you get the picture. Or would you like video?

OP, did you read all the way to the end of the article? And your post reflects all you got out of it?
OP, if you would please provide links to or quotes of the folks who like to call him "professor," we'd be well on the way to determining whether this is meant in a racist way or whether it's not.

Two points are earned here for the most creative use of the race card this week.

It will be just a matter of time before tomatoes become "racist'. The libs have taken any meaning and power from the word "racist" by gross overuse.

"Racist" used to mean a pre-judged action or thought based on a person's race, not thier behavior or beliefs. Now it means anything a liberal disagrees with.

I would bet that I am probably a "racist", as I am Green Bay Packers fan and I don't even know it. I will have to wait for liberal guidance to tell me what team to cheer for, to make sure I am not breaking any PC laws.

good grief
any word against him, and folks scream racist, does not have much of an impact any longer,
personally, I don't like him at all, nothing about him, zip, nadda, zero
if someone has a problem with that, too bad
I do not get threatened when some one tries to shut me down by pulling out that tired old card~
Obama is a complete bore, Harvard man or not
I am counting the days for the next election

The use of “professor” as a term of derision may have hit its stride in the 1950s, but it dates back to scolding characterizations of Socrates, according to Geoffrey Nunberg, a linguistics professor at the University of California at Berkeley
IMHO the first quote implies that the POTUS needs to be more hawkish and less bookish; it is not racist. Seeing that the derisive use of professor dates back to Socrates, it's a stretch trying to turn it into a racist slur.

It is tiresome to see people attempting to turn everything into a black vs white issue.

The hussein obama sheep just use the race card to try and detract from what a loser he is. He is not the first black president anyway. His mother was white. The "calling him a professor" is racist is enough to make your brains hurt, they are so desperate.

Bad example.

False outrage on the part of Mr Alford. The guy came representing the "Black Chamber of Commerce" yet got offended when Sen Boxer dared to draw a comparison of opinion with another "race-based" organization. He even managed to pull out the veteran card, as if being a veteran had anything to do with the discussion. Lame.

What is lame is your lame attempt to get the racist Barbara Boxer off the hook. Why the black man should be proud! He should be so proud a black man like him could be in his position.

What a crock! You should be ashamed at your attempt to defend this racist bologna. She insulted him in the worst way.

If Boxer were a Republican, would you have been so quick to come to Mr Alford's defense?

Didn't think so.
