Democrat Evan Bayh won't seek reelection, cites Senate gridlock - latimes.com

He does not want to be a part of the destruction crew that nearly destroyed American called the democrats.
They are running for the hills because they do not want their name tied to one Barrack Insane Obama and is plan to wreck America.

This just shows they all now know they nominated the wrong candidate.

Bet they are all buying up the Obama poison ivy cream.

His disease is spreading like a wild fire.

Republicans lost big in 2006 and again in 2008 not because voters wanted a liberal agenda but because the republican congress and the white house appeared to be steering toward a liberal agenda. While I voted for McCain my support was lukewarm at best basically coming down to "He's better than Obama".

A number of republicans stayed home or actually voted for Obama as a protest against republican policies they saw as bankrupting the country. Turns out they were right. I toyed with the idea of voting for Obama as a protest hoping that massive defeat might steer them back to the track they were on in 1994. If I had voted Obama the biggest mistake Obama could have made was to interpret my vote as some sort of victory for a liberal agenda.

The only reason McCain did as well as he did was Palin on the ticket.

But there is a lot of time between now and November and while I suppose things could turn around, imagine democratic glee if unemployment drops to 7%, but I doubt they will and democrats will pay dearly.
McCain lost my vote because of Palin.

If unemployment drops to 7 percent, and Democrats show glee, will Republicans show sadness? What if it became 3 pecent...would Republicans become suicidal while Democrats became ecstatic? DO Republicans hate it when people have jobs? Less Jobs ='s Rpublican Happiness? Sounds like they are really looking out for their constituents, there.

Not.

Don't quite get where you going with this.

The mob is fickle. Obama won because America thought Repubs = George Bush, and he sucked, so let's vote Obama. Now, Obama ='s Dems and we don't have Instant Sea Monkey jobs and free houses, so let's all vote a Republican in.

THis proves one thing. The mob is stupid. That's about it.

Bracing for the "swiftboating" whine. . . . . using someone's actual record against them.

Some Democrats shun Obama event in St. Louis - Washington Times

Quote:
The Show Me State temporarily became the No-Show State on Wednesday as some prominent Missouri Democrats decided they'd rather be somewhere else when President Obama came to push his massive health care overhaul plan.

"Barack Obama should be campaigning his heart out for Robin Carnahan - after all, Carnahan has pledged to rubber-stamp his agenda of a government takeover of health care, job-killing cap-and-tax, the failed stimulus bill and much more," said Lloyd Smith, executive director of the Missouri Republican Party.
The Carnahans, Russ and Robin, skipped the event as well as Ike Skelton.

He is absolutely toxic after just one short year. You would have though he would have some capital to spend and some coattails to ride.

PA dems also chose not to join the party leader in their home state on Monday.

Agreed. The mob is basically worthless at this point.

LMAO! The Carnahans are to Missouri like the Kennedy's to Mass. .

I can only hope Obama's 50 second speech and attendance at Claire McCaskill's fundraiser dooms her. She totes the party agenda, hook, line, and sinker.
