And this is what makes the whole movement mighty suspicious.
1) They suddenly became vocal when President Obama is in the White House.
2) They mount protests in which they display blatantly racist signs depicted President Obama as an African witch doctor with a bone in his nose or as an Arab/Muslim, etc.
3) They are predominantly Caucasian
4) They were not "vocal" during all of the 8 years of reckless Bush spending
5) The planning of the protests started before President Obama even took the oath

You forget all the horrible signs people made about Bush but now that the tables have turned people are all in an uproar.
Yes! Damn all that learnin'! All them Democrats and their books and degrees... We don't want people who actually know something solving EXTREMELY complex problems that have a huge impact on our every day lives.
We want more jingoistic ignoramuses who make us feel good about America's image, while in reality there is less and less to feel good about..

There were plenty of people who would later become identified with the Taxed Enough Already movement who were blaming Bush along with he who voted PRESENT and has learned how easy it is to blame Bush. There just was no platform for identification. Only association with those conservatives who may soon be returning to their home state... permanently.

His handling of the economy has been outstanding. He inherited the biggest financial crisis since the great depression and all trends have been reversed, the country is again showing economic growth and employment trends have turned around. The stimulus is working, get over it.
Health-care reform has been blocked at every turn by the party of no. They did everything they could, including using these tea party geniuses to spread lies and falsehoods. Let's see what happens after the hcr summit this week in spite of the Repub's wanting to pass no reform...
