Exactly. The "producer" could be an "actor" as well, who effectively pays someone to have sex with him (on camera). Film it and it becomes legal. That's my point.

Most married women are prostitutes. If they aren't when they first get married, they become one. How many women do you know who stay in unhappy situations? Tons. They use euphemisms to help self-justify the fact that they are whores. They don't stay for the money; no, they do it for "security," and "stability," and so on.

To some degree, it's part of the human condition. Some semblance of socialization allows a bit of nuance, but ultimately it winds up being roughly the same in most situations. It's socially accepted prostitution. The difference between these married women and actual pornographic actresses and street walkers is the latter have the intellectual and emotional ability to handle the cognitive dissonance, thus reaping the financial rewards in a more stable, independent environment(ie, self-reliant financially).

Okay, well, come to California, make copies of their identifications, have them sign model releases, film yourself having sex with them, and then yes, you'll be able to say that you legally hired prostitutes. Yippee.

I really don't understand what your point is with all of this. Are you angry that it's legal to produce pornographic movies?

I am not angry that making pornographic movies involving only consenting adults is legal; I just thought the double standard needed to be pointed out, as do all double standards that influence our laws. What is your point with all of this?

Just trying to explain things to you. That's all.

Again, there is no double-standard. There's a difference between producing a movie and hiring a prostitute for your own personal pleasure.

The paying customer is not getting sex. They just get to watch as entertainment.

Have sex with strangers for money and get arrested. Have sex with strangers for money in front of a camera and sell the video, and it's legal.

Pay a stranger to have sex with you and go to jail. Pay a stranger to have sex with you in front of a camera and sell the video, and it's legal.

So we're effectively arresting people for not recording it and selling it, not for the actual act of sex with strangers for money. Why?
