The title is just called "progressive". It isn't what the paper is about. For instance, the Deleware Democrat is generally a conservative paper.

PS, there have been republicans who are self-proclaimed "progressives"

It's the same as hooters firing a waitress who doesn't want to wear the tight shirt. It's hooters, not church. Wear the shirt, or work somewhere else.

There was a time when all the newspapers weren't objective.

From their own website:

What is progressive news?
Progressive news is news that brings us closer to universal health care, living wages, affordable housing, peace, a healthy environment, and voting systems we can trust.
Is Atlanta Progressive News objective?
We provide news of concern to working families, and therefore, our writing is geared toward a specific audience. Fortunately, our audience--working families--comprises a majority of people in the United States who are largely ignored by corporate media sources.
We believe there is no such thing as objective news. Typically, mainstream media presents itself as objective but is actually skewed towards promoting the corporate agenda of the ultra-wealthy.
APN, on the other hand, does not pretend to be objective. We believe that our news coverage is fair and that our progressive principles are fair. We aim when possible to give voice to all sides, but aim to provide something different than what is already provided by corporate sources.

Atlanta Progressive News

They're raving moonbats with Palestinian Fair Trade olive oil adverftisements on their site.

Oh, they have ads for boycotting caterpillar saying "catepillar destroys Palestine"

Yup, definetely these are conservatives and not moonbat hammer and sickle shirt wearing liberals.

Next?

Now that you're wrong, what do you think about them firing someone for trying to be objective?

Being objective is not their goal. Having a point of view is. Get it?

At least they admit it, unlike Fox News.

So yes, "being objective" would be grounds for dismissal.

And outside of universal health care, those are all nonpartisan issues. That is unless you believe republicans are in favor of unfair wages, unaffordable housing, war, a bad enviornment and corrupt voting systems?
