wabbit, he nor his base was in charge for 8 years, and weren't in complete control for 14 years. There was little to no violent acts committed. Meanwhile the Republicans are out of the WH for a year and some guy takes it upon himself to try to kill IRS workers.

Unlikely, especially if the economy remains bad and/or unemployment remains stubbornly high.

Thanks for the little trip down memory lane.

I don't know if it's still possible, but you might be able to take something for those delusions you've had since 1972.

Celebrations, partying, maybe a lot of drunken revelling. I guess suicides might be considered acts of violence. I personally would suggest clearing store shelves of kool aid a few weeks before the election just in case.

I think that Bush proved himself to be the nutcase- just look at his 8 years in the White House- he will go down in history as one of the worst if not THE worst presidents we have ever had- Gore would have been a much more sane president than Bush was-he also wouldn't have told as many lies as Budh and Cheney did during their 8 years of dragging our country down into the pit we are now in-

I think it will be worse violence than what we avoided in 2000. IMHO, if Obama fails to be re-elected in a close race, we could see massive rioting like what happened with Rodney King in 1992 with gangs of inner city residents rampaging through the streets, fermented by Jeremiah Wright types. If the police beating of a single black criminal can cause days of violence and chaos, one can only wonder what happens if a self-identified black president and former radical community organizer fails to be re-elected, the anger that will be present in America's inner city communities. I live in Baltimore and am very wary of this and in my opinion alone, I think people living in or near major cities should all be concerned about this possibilty. There are also radical socialist, anarchist, and hippie organizations that may engage in violence, on a far larger level than what we see whenever the World Bank, the G8, or the IMF meets.

I don't think the same people who burned down Los Angeles in 1992 or who rampaged through Seattle during the WTO meetings will just sit at home and do nothing if their candidate is defeated, especially if the race is close and the victor is white. If it is Michael Steele or Bobby Jindal perhaps this MAY be avoided, and even then that would be a HUGE perhaps.

Hey great. If people want to burn down thier own neighborhoods, that is their decision. Why don't they just enlist ACORN to cast 400 million votes for Obama?

I disagree. Since he won already, it's not like you can turn around and claim he didn't get a fair election 4years later. Most people understand that so there will not be widespread outrage.

twista, you can't argue w/crazy & it is more than clear that we are dealing w/something even worse than crazy & totally mentally unstable. The fact that certain people can't answer a simple question & instead totally twist the facts of a party ideal that is a KNOWN FACT for YEARS is in itself crazy & deluded. All I can say is we know what's going on, we know who's got their head on straight as do all the other sane people on here. The rest can just be cast to the side.

Ahhh another one that assumed I voted for Bush. You are never going to be successful with that one if you think it will bother me.

The worst president is in the white house right now. hussein obama has divided this country like no president before him. Even Time mag has Bush on their front page. Everyone but hussein obama's slobbering sheep is fleeing from him. Now we even have Pelosi trying to suck up to the Tea Party (not that will ever work) The Dems are getting more and more desperate. It's a great day in America!
