Just a short year after obama's first term. This is somewhat shocking, considering the promise of a new era of politics and a post-partisan politician that would unite not just the country, but the world.
A majority of Americans say the United States is less respected in the world than it was two years ago and think President Obama and other Democrats fall short of Republicans on the issue of national security, a new poll finds.

You're the one who keeps accusing Obama of doing things that aren't important, since he "has bigger problems". And you still opened this pointless thread. He has bigger problems than worrying about this crap

And your opinion is more important than the OP? It appears that all of you worshipers believe so.
So, one part of this poll - a poll of people in this country - asked them how they believe other countries feel about this country ... do I have that right? How we think people in other countries respect the US?
I would find more interesting and valid a poll of people in other countries and their views of the US.
I mean, if we want to know how the rest of the world views the US, ask them, and not us.
I don't think a polling of U.S. citizens about how the rest of the world thinks about the U.S.,or if they respect us means anything-it's useless- it would take a polling of citizens of countries around the world to find out what the rest of the world thinks about the U.S.- that's like asking someone what other people think of them- how the hell would they know how other people feel about them?
