What's funny is that it will offend some people because black barbie isn't worth as much and offend others if they don't reduce the price because black barbie wouldn't be affordable enough.
Less demand, indicative of the impact of racism on young black females. Nothing broke my heart more than the study that showed that many young black girls chose white dolls because they had been taught to believe that whiteness was more attractive.

What's funny is that the second half of your statement is pretty much made up nonsense. No one would complain if white barbie and black barbie were the same.
Gee... the store had an excess of black Barbie dolls that weren't selling... so they were marked down. So what?

If blacks were buying white dolls before, it was only because there weren't any black dolls to buy. Now the situation is corrected.

PC media at it again. This is non-news. If this were a system-wide price change it might be worth reporting, but if it's a local price change then maybe it's because the doll isn't selling well in this particular neighborhood and so to help clear out the inventory they lowered the price.
