We've known this about Obama since before the election. Sadly, there just aren't enough citizens who value human life who cared before the election. They don't appear to be in Congress either as witnessed by the lack of outrage of the Senate healthcare bill abortion provisions.

There's no such thing as pro-abortion. I'm a PRO CHOICE woman and if there were never another abortion done I'd be a very happy woman.

I'm also not going to force women to become human incubators to make some random people feel warm and fuzzy inside that they 'saved a baby'.

I support Obama in his PRO CHOICE decisions.

The health care bill has never been pro-abortion.

There are existing federal laws restricting federal funding for abortion services.

NOTHING in the health care bill overrode the existing laws.

Yea for Obama!

Belgium has 1/10th the abortion rate as the USA and it's free and legal over there.

What Belgium's secret?

They have universal health care, free birth control for teenagers, and don't have these right wing Bible thumpers trying to keep sex a dirty secret.

pro choice is the proper term, as pointed out above no one is pro abortion. obama is pro choice. I support all his efforts including moving forward on stem cell research. abortion should stay legal and safe

So sad. When will people wake up and realize these are innocent babies that are being killed? For all pro choicers, ask yourself this: what if you were a 'mistake' pregnancy and your parents chose to abort you?

The termination of a pregnancy is not the killing of a baby. It sounds nice and dramatic, but if you are choosing to debate this, get your terminology straight.

That would be their choice to make, and thank goodness they would have the ability to make a decision appropriate for their situation.

I'm Pro-Choice too.

To be quite honest, Pro-choice is, pro abortion.

No need to deny it if it paints us in bad light. It is what it is.
I have come to accept me as a male, have no business telling a woman what to do with her own body, and medical science, these days.
