A LOT has changed over the last 6 months. Why create a new Gallup thread every time obama sinks to a new low?

I do believe he's never been at 50% disapproval in the Gallup.

We haven't had an "update" in a while.

Gallup.Com - Daily News, Polls, Public Opinion on Government, Politics, Economics, Management

He's at 42% Approval - 50% disapproval, his lowest numbers yet I believe.

Down 4 in App overnight, up 4 in disapp overnight.

What could have caused this?

When Bush left office, I think his approval ratings were more like 30-32%. I'm surprised it was that high considering that about 70% of the media was/is anti-Bush.

It's very unlikely that Obama's approval rating will go much lower. That's because his base is the almost 50% of the population pays little or no taxes. They will vote for him no matter what.
The bigger the government is, and the more entitlements and handouts, the better it is for them. They get the benefits without the cost. They LOVE Obama.

I do believe today is the lowest he's ever gone in the Gallup;

Gallup.Com - Daily News, Polls, Public Opinion on Government, Politics, Economics, Management

41% App, 50% Disapp.

He simply does not look like a leader in charge or in command of the situation, or the country.

People are seeing this and they don't like what they see.

Gallup had him at 46% / 48% just two weeks ago. No biggie.

And he's also doing fine in other recent polls ...

Newsweek 54% App, 40% Disapp.
NBC News/WSJ 47% App, 49% Disapp.

Rather than rely on just one poll from one week ... I'd stick to the RCP average:

46.3 Approv., 48.4 Disapp.

Yeah, from the "outlier" of Newsweek. Notice the asterisk by the listing? Obviously, something is wrong with it and I know just what it is - Newsweek, trying to prop him up, start a narrative, push a "perceived" jump in approval. Total hogwash, but NOT unexpected from the leftist media.

Gallup had him at his lowest quarter yet.

Obama
