If it's as big as the last Million Moron March they may need two Port a Potties
Your attempts at humor are falling flat. Seriously, do you ever have anything positive to add? It's a postal mail campaign Einstein. You may want to read the link before adding your gradeschool one-liners next time.

Boompa is one of those paranoid types who believe if we speak against Government we are traitors.

A postal mail campaign, what is that supposed to do?
You don't really think Congress cares about mass mailings do you?

Yeah, why bother to listen to your constituents once elected? The dems in congress have shown that they could give a rat's behind what the people really think of their job approval.

What fact would lead one to believe that once elected, a public servant would need to "listen to" the people?
The whole purpose of a representative democracy is to choose someone whose judgment you trust, and let him make the decisions.
The last thing you want is a politician currying your favor, and only swayed by public opinion. Popularity is a terrible means to judge law - if law is to secure rights and not trespass upon the inalienable rights of the people.
Of course, since 1933, and the bankruptcy, there is little reason to expect statesmen in office. Prosecuting the bankruptcy trumps all other issues, and the 'human resources' must be 'sheared', and with haste.

The People elect these guys based on campaign promises. Rarely are those promises fulfilled. Then they take an oath before entering their office. How many times has a Congressman broken that oath?
Far far too many. You are too gullible if you believe these people are serving our best interests anymore. They are serving their best interests and those who gave them oodles of money.
