Why won't Obama help them quicker?
Doesn't he care?
He saw he was getting NO support from the Republicans, so why did he STILL make a bill that is bending overbackwards for insurance companies????? He could have shoved a single payer or anything else into this reconciliation bill, (the Republicans couldn't stop him) but he decided against helping those without insurance and caved into the insurance lobby.

So either he's the world's worst negotiator or a simple ***** to the insurance lobby.
Which one is it???
Neither. He likes to sign things. His EGO wants him to go down as the guy who signed this and that into law, because HE knows best what is good for us. Whether we think so or not. Kind of makes him really out of touch with reality.

Kind of reminds of the kid who wants to play, but because it's his ball and jacks he will make the rules. Including bullying and badgering those on his own team. Can't let them make up their own minds, has to call those who don't readily fall in behind.

Kind of shows how he really feels about his own team, doesn't it?

"There is no I in team. But there is ME."

For anyone who's been watching the show and obviously Stupak, et al, have not, and this weekend IS the BIG SHOW they'd realize that the vote today is all the Donks really want. Hun'h?

Yes, today is all they want. Today seals the deal. Today is the goal. And yes, they know there will be bitter fights along the way in the Senate, in the press, in the courts and again in the House. But those are inconsequential to this weekend's BIG SHOW.

Obama's rallying the troops Saturday in the bundestag; Pelosi heaving the gavel of socialism past, clutched to her breasts, across the parking lot of protests; the wheeling and dealing, the false promises. This weekend IS the BIG SHOW.

They know once they get out and sell the bill... sell it to SEIU, ACORN and its shadow, to fake voters, to Ohio, they know it's just a celebratory rollercoaster ride to November. Come on along Olbermann and Matthews and Anderson360 it's gonna be fun and hey... it's paid for. Yes, the BIG SHOW was paid by rubes in the House and November will be paid for by the press.
