Just saw this after writing my previous post.

While you are right concerning democracies (see Switzerland's minaret ban), I don't get how your post is an argument against a Democratic Congress.

If anything, it's a manifest against the Republicans/Tea Partiers that claim to represent the will of the people...

Democracy is worth dying for, because it's the most deeply honorable form of government ever devised by man.

Thank you. They seem not see that 34 of their own did not believe in this scambill.

If it was so great they would have ALL voted for it.

Guess some could not be bought out.

The OP knows his party has only 21% of the American people behind them and is worried.

You should be, their will be a total butt kicking come November and the REAL American party will take control from the CRIMINAL party.

This HC issue will head to the Supreme Court in time and will be struck down as unconstitutional.

No one can be forced to purchase HC if they do not want it and no one can be fined for not purchasing it.

But then again the dems never follow the law anyways.

My discussion on this thread was not to argue against a Democratic Congress.. It was to argue the ridiculousness of "the will of the people" part of the thread..

Despite what the pundits want us to think, contested primaries aren't civil war, they are democracy at work, and that's beautiful.
