But why is there only right wing conservative personalities (Limbaugh,Beck, Hannity, Levine?) on the radio air waves? I could be wrong but I don't know of any left wing liberal shows on the radio? I know jon stewart is a liberal but he's as far as I know on tv.

Because liberals found it difficult to get on a radio everyday and find reasonable and justifiable reasons why the government needs to get bigger, and people turned them off and they couldnt get advertisers..

I would suggest:
That liberals and progressives just aren't that tuned into early 20th Century technology.
That there are better things to listen to in a car than political discourse, which is about the only place most folks listen to the radio anyway.
That Liberals and progressives understand that right wing radio is to debate what the World Federation of Wrestling is to Greco-Roman.
That Liberals and progressives (and conservatives who can think) have National Public Radio.
