These folks got a free extreme homemakeover a few years ago now there taxs have gone up so they sell the free stuff..... kinda sticks in my craw a bit....

I often wondered how these folks, who are often close to being destitude, could afford the new property taxes on the so-called "gift" of a new home. I've also wondered how they got hit in the form of income tax.

Once a gift is transfered it belongs to the recipient to do with as he/she sees fit. Those giving the "gift" understand that and we should too. Don't have to agree with it but do you have a better suggestion?

That particular generator is a very good one with a retail price well over $18K. With 11 advertised hours it has not even been run through the monthy 1 hr. tests that are recommended. No doubt someone will snatch up that puppy at quite a bargain price.
